“My earliest childhood memory was receiving a bow and arrow set for Christmas - I was four years old,” said Lee. “I remember standing out the front of my grandparents’ house and shooting the arrow across the road.”
As Lee was growing up he loved listening to music. “I have always been a fan of 80s music, particularly Australian artists. Skyhooks is my favourite band,” he said.
It was this love of music that led Lee to learn to play several instruments and uncover a hidden talent. “I used to be in a band as the drummer, but after lessons, I became a bass guitar player. I ended up liking the guitar better, so I stuck with it.”
When looking back at his life Lee said the one place in the world he would have liked to visit, but never got the chance to, was Canada. “I have always wanted to travel by train through the Rocky Mountains. I have seen it in the movies and the scenery is gorgeous,” said Lee.
We all have our parents to thank for teaching us some of the most important lessons in life. When asked about the most valuable lesson he learnt from his parents, Lee said, “My mum always told me to manage my finances carefully and budget. Because of this, I’ve always had several accounts to make sure everything is paid. Once I know everything is paid - whatever is left is mine to enjoy.”
