At SummitCare, we are delighted to see how much our residents enjoy our newly introduced buffet-style catering service. This approach has quickly become a favourite, with residents eagerly looking forward to mealtimes. The buffet allows them to choose their own meals on the spot, ensuring each dish is tailored to their tastes and served hot and fresh. The visual appeal of the buffet, along with the delightful aromas, creates an inviting atmosphere that encourages residents to come to the dining area, promoting a sense of community.
Our residents appreciate the flexibility of the service, as they can easily have top-ups of their favourite dishes, ensuring they always feel satisfied. The buffet-style dining also provides an opportunity for important discussions, such as feedback surveys, as residents are motivated to gather together and share their thoughts. This social aspect not only enriches the dining experience but also helps residents stay connected and engaged with the activities around them.
By encouraging residents to come out of their rooms for mealtimes, we are fostering a greater sense of participation in daily life. This initiative has helped our dedicated staff keep residents engaged in both dining and other activities, contributing to their overall well-being and happiness. It’s truly heartwarming to see how much our residents love the new service, making mealtimes a highlight of their day.
As an organisation, we place great emphasis on the food and dining experience, which is reflected in our organisational structure. Our Corporate General Manager, Amar Sharma, leads the Services portfolio, supported by our Group Executive Chef, Vinod Chopra, and Dietitians, who together guide our Centre Managers and Cooks. All of our recipes are carefully crafted in collaboration with our Dietitians to ensure that the nutritional needs of our residents are met. We are always focused on taking feedback and continually improving our services to ensure that each meal remains not only nutritious but also a source of joy and satisfaction for our residents. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this meaningful journey.
