Welcome to SummitCare. Our organisation has been providing excellent residential aged care and service for over 46 years. Our commitment to our Vision, Purpose and Values is unrelenting and we continue to strive to achieve all of our goals.

 

The aged care industry is undergoing major change with the primary forces being the changing demographic of our residents and their families. SummitCare has considered all of those driving forces to build a strategic framework and plan which will assist managers and staff to lead the organisation through the turbulence providing a sense of community and confidence that we are all working together for one primary purpose - our residents. The key to success is very much about having a clearly articulated plan that gives direction on how we intend on keeping contemporary and competing for both talented staff but also in maintaining viability in times when government is not sufficiently funding both operational and capital development in the Industry. Instead of complaining, we work together to hit straight on those challenges with the key goal of making sure residents in our care are our primary focus.

 

I have no doubt that our commitment to quality and providing relevant and sensitive care to older people will mean that confidence is always assured. We want to be first in mind when the decision for residential aged care is raised and we know our long term success will come from the testimonials of positive stories from those we care for. Each day we directly impact the lives of over 900 people. When we relate that each person requiring care has friends and families of no less than four we can see that this multiplies significantly. The work we do has a major impact at a time when it matters most and we know only too well that the transition to residential aged care can be very rewarding and positive.
